Brianna and her friends were driving around in their hometown in New Jersey. On their drive, they saw Grace, a gray coated Pitbull, at the side of a road and was tied to a pole.
The group of friends unanimously decided to pull over and help the poor dog. Once Grace was successfully untied from the pole, Brianna gently approached her.
It was evident that Grace was terrified of human interaction since her tail was in between her legs and her head hung low. Despite her fear, Grace let Brianna pet her.
It took a couple of minutes before Grace looked up and snuggled into Brianna’s arms. Finally, Grace began to trust Brianna and followed her to her car.
Brianna decided to take Grace home and nurse her to health. On the drive home, Grace’s tail began to wag as if she knew she was safe. She ended up sleeping on Brianna’s lap halfway through the trip.
Journey to recovery
As soon as they arrived, Brianna prepared a warm bath for Grace. She then gave Grace some food and water which the pup finished within seconds.
Brianna soon realized that Grace had separation anxiety. Whenever Brianna would turn around, Grace would bark, howl, and follow her. Despite Grace’s quirks, Brianna was determined to make Grace comfortable and give her a life she deserved.
As the days passed, Brianna noticed that Grace was unsure of her actions. She felt that Grace was not inclined to living anywhere but the streets.
After a few weeks, Brianna and Grace’s bond grew stronger. Grace was more relaxed and she blossomed into a very loving ang playful dog.
The two were instant best friends and did everything together. Brianna saw how much Grace had changed and was so glad to fulfill her promises to Grace of a happy home.
