Baloo, a Pitbull, and Louie, a Dalmatian, lived about 1 ½ hour away from each other. Obviously, they weren’t neighbors, but they met at a dog park one day, and in an instant, they hit it off. They knew they were going to be best of friends.
The moment the dogs saw one another, they ran toward each other like they’ve been friends for a long time. They were a perfect example of what love at first sight meant. They connected right then and there.
Baloo’s mom, Bella Boone, said that her dog has never acted the way he did with other dogs. He played with other pups at the park but he was different when he was with Louie. It was the best friendship he ever made.
Bella exchanged contact information with Louie’s dad, Mickey Dylan. They both agreed their dogs should spend more time together; hence, they set up play dates at the park. Despite their differences, they are extremely comfortable around each other.
Eventually, Louie and Mickey started visiting Baloo and Bella at home. The dogs spent an entire afternoon playing and snuggling. But once it was time to leave, Louie always had the saddest face. He didn’t want to leave and neither does his best friend.
These dog best friends were both rescues. Bella was a freshman in college when she started visiting shelters and met Baloo. She fell in love with him and decided to give him a home. Mickey, meanwhile, wanted a dog buddy and when he saw Louie, he knew he was the one.
Because of Baloo and Louie’s special friendship, their mom and dad spent more time together, too. And soon, they both agreed that like their dogs, they were awesome together. They started dating, and they formed the perfect foursome.
Bella and Mickey love to go on adventures and they always bring their dogs with them. They are the reason why they ended up together. And they are proud to say Baloo and Louie belong with them.
