Dog Suffering From Cerebellar Hypoplasia Loves Playing In Muddy Puddles

When it comes to adversity, dogs are among the most resilient creatures who will not let anything keep them from enjoying life. You may have seen videos of dogs still being dogs even when they are missing limbs or deformed good boys who still manage to enjoy life to the fullest.

It is very rare to see a dog who is down in the dumps. They always have that sense of positivity that keeps them going despite the difficulties that they are facing. And one such dog is a yellow lab named Stevie.

Stevie, despite his perky personality, suffers from a neurological disorder. He has been living with a rare condition called cerebellar hypoplasia. Cerebellar hypoplasia is a neurological disorder that attacks the brain stem which controls motor impulses. This means that a dog who is suffering from the condition will have difficulty moving around.

That is indeed true with Stevie. His rare condition has made it hard for him to control his legs. He makes shaky movements when he tries to get around. But even with his difficulties, Stevie is just like any other dog.

Stevie loves his family to death. And the only thing Stevie loves as much as he loves his family is playing in muddy puddles. Stevie loves to tippy-tap in puddles in the yard, splashing water everywhere.

In the featured video, Stevie can be seen showing off to the neighbor’s dog as he plays in the puddles of water in their yard. The look of happiness and content on Stevie’s face is just heartwarming as he tippy-taps his troubles away. We should learn something about resilience from this happy dog, especially now that we are facing a global pandemic. It is crucial to remember that no matter what life throws at us, we should learn to see it in a positive light.

Watch the resilient dog enjoy puddles of water in the video below.
