This Tamaskan Husky, named Raven, was very lonely when she was still a puppy. The reason for this is that the dog lives alone inside their house. She does not have someone to play with, unlike other dogs her age. Her mom, Christina, noticed the dog’s loneliness, so she decided to adopt another pet for the dog.
Raven and Christina went to a local animal shelter in Lubbock, Texas, and the latter lets her pooch choose who she wants to adopt. In Christina’s mind, she wants a kitten for the dog, but she does not want to impose it on Raven.
But to her surprise, Raven indeed chose a kitten among the four different kittens he met with at the animal shelter. Among the four, Raven picked the kitten named Woodhouse, and they were compatible with each other. Unlike the other three, the two animals were not at odds with each other and had an instant connection.
Christina immediately processed all the documents of Woodhouse so she could bring her home with Raven. When they arrived home, Christina knew that it would be difficult for Woodhouse to adjust to a new environment.
Despite this, Christina also knew that Raven is responsible enough to look after Woodhouse. After all, it was the dog who chose the kitten to be her new friends. As the days passed by, the two animals strengthened their friendship. They would often do their activities together, like eating, playing, and sleeping.
This development made Christina very happy because she is at peace that Raven will no longer be sad. But Christina also mentioned that her love for Raven is equal to the love she shows for Woodhouse. For Christina, both Raven and Woodhouse are her pets, and there should be no competition between the two of who she loves the most.
