While other dogs will certainly do everything to avoid vets, Georgia, an adorable six-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, begs to differ.
When her owner, Eric, brought her one day to the vet for her scheduled check-up, Eric was too happy to see that Georgia hasn’t shown any misbehavior signs. She willingly came along without any fits and complaints. And Eric thought that their visit to the vet would be very smooth, but the problem is, it didn’t end that way.
When other dog owners are having a lot of trouble even before their dogs enter the vet’s room, Eric had a different kind of headache. The trouble for him started after their check-up. And what could be the problem? Fluffy Georgia doesn’t want to go home!
Yes, it appears that the Bernese Mountain Dog felt so comfortable at the vet’s clinic that she wanted to stay for a few more hours (even for a week, maybe). And while Eric was happy to see that his dog had appreciated the vet’s clinic, it became a bit of a problem because it was time for them to go home.
Georgia planted her fluffy body on the vet’s office entrance so no one — even her owner — could drag her out of the clinic. This was a ‘worst-case scenario,’ and forcing her to leave the office was definitely not in anyone’s options. That is why the staff immediately unleashed one of their best and tried and tested tactics — persuading her with a yummy treat!
But even though the liver treat was a very tempting treat to accept, smart Georgia immediately recognized that it was a discreet way to bribe her. Unfortunately, the ‘Treat Tactic’ failed.
While watching her hilarious firmness, Eric can’t help but laugh and be amazed by Georgia’s newfound love in the vet’s clinic. While this is undoubtedly a welcome behavior for him, it is confusing whether it’s a blessing or a monthly headache.
